Position Summary: We are seeking a General Worker who will be responsible for providing support across various tasks within the Bindery Department. The role involves adhering to departmental procedures, working collaboratively with team members, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions: 

• Print, comprehend, and apply Bindery Department policies, procedures, and job tickets.
• Follow verbal instructions from supervisors, leads, and machine operators, integrating them into assigned tasks.
• Demonstrate basic troubleshooting skills when necessary.
• Meet departmental production targets efficiently.
• Conduct regular quality checks, documenting findings to maintain consistency.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in basic math and measuring skills.
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
• Capability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
• Capacity to lift weights of up to 50 lbs. intermittently.
• Regular bending and lifting of light to moderate weights.
• Strong communication skills for interaction within and outside the organization.
• Flexibility to accommodate overtime and weekend schedules.
